​As a Commercial Insurance Advisor, Brendan is responsible for new commercial business development and account relationships. Brendan is a graduate of Belmont Abbey College in North Carolina where he earned a BA degree in history with a minor in English.  Prior to working for CRV, Brendan enjoyed a 15-year career in the Rhode Island marine industry.  He worked in various aspects of the industry, with an emphasis on marine construction, marina management, and customer service.  He holds the United States Coast Guard Master Captain’s Credential, as well as various other certifications in yacht repair, heavy equipment operation, and boat handling.

Brendan spends his free time planning daily adventures for his wife and two daughters, as well as his black lab/ best friend “Mr. Hoops.”  He is an avid local surfer who also enjoys fishing, golfing, and heading up the mountains during the winter.  Brendan is a big sports fan, especially the Red Sox, the Patriots, and the Providence College Friars.  The Crawford family spends much of the summer sailing and boating on Narragansett Bay or hanging out at the beach.
